This instruction has been substantially revised and needs to be completely reviewed. The title of this instruction has changed from AFI 25-101, Air Force War Reserve Materiel (WRM) Policies and Guidance, to AFI 25-101, War Reserve Materiel (WRM). This revision introduces new force presentation terminology (force generation sets/modules), mandates use of standard unit type codes (UTC) for pre-positioned war reserve materiel (PWRM) posturing, adds WRM posturing codes, revises tiering IAW AFI 33-360, Publications and Forms Management, corrects Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) organizational structure, and adds new process and proc edure related compliance items (e.g., mission support requests, government purchase card, defense travel system). (PACAF) This instruction has been substantially revised and needs to be completely reviewed. The title of this instruction has changed from AFI 25-101, Air Force War Reserve Materiel (WRM) Policies and Guidance, to AFI 25-101, War Reserve Materiel (WRM). This revision introduces joint inventories and mandates Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS) inspections for WRM Readiness Spares Packages. It also addresses the storing command’s supplemental WRM vehicle rotation policy and realigns Fleet Management responsibilities for units in Korea. (7AF) This document is substantially revised and must be completely reviewed. Major changes include re alignment of WRM Program Manager function from 7 AF/A4 to 607 ASOG/ CC for all Co-located Operating Bases (COBs) Suwon, Gimhae, GwangJu and Daegu Air Bases. It also addresses COBs unique management processes consistent with the function related with the duties assigned to an installation WRMO/NCO/Manager. This revision is renumbered to align with AFI 25-101 and new AFI 25-101/PACAF Supplement
