CheckMyRegs answers one question — is this regulation current? — for every military branch at once. It indexes 21,080 publications from the official publishing portals and shows each pub's date, status, and official link, plus cross-branch comparisons of the regs people actually argue about (grooming, PT, leave, awards).
It is an unofficial index, not a mirror of publication text and not legal or official guidance. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official product of the Department of Defense or any military service. The controlling copy of any publication is the one on its official portal — always verify there before citing guidance in an official product.
The deep Air Force tooling is here. CheckMyAFI was folded into this site in July 2026 and its addresses redirect here, so supplement trees sit on each publication’s own page, the federal cross-references are at Crosswalk, and paragraph-level answers come from Ask.
Working on a document rather than reading one? Cite check verifies every citation in a pasted OI, SOP or order against the catalogs and the publications’ own extracted text, and Audit runs the wider review around it — governing authority, currency, structure and compliance language, with every check reporting its own state so an unrun check can never read as a clean one. Neither page accepts an upload; both work from pasted text.
