What this publication covers

This manual provides guidance for operating the C-130H and LC-130H. It is an original source document for many areas, but for efficiency reaffirms information found in aircraft flight manuals, flight information publications (FLIP), and other Air Force directives. When guidance in this manual conflicts with another basic/source document, that document takes precedence. What changed in this edition

This manual has been substantially revised and must be reviewed. Major changes include the addition of a Roles and Responsibilities chapter, all chapters have been renumbered, MEL (minimum equipment list) table revisions, guidance for combat offload method C, added SDP (special departure procedure) guidance and added go/no-go decision point guidance during a touch and go
