This manual establishes the minimum Air Force standards for training, qualifying, and certifying personnel performing aircrew duties in the F-22A. Note: For the purposes of this manual, certification denotes a commander's action, whereas qualification denotes a formal evaluation. Reference AFMAN 11-202 Volume 2, Aircrew Standardization and Evaluation Program (as supplemented), for an explanation of qualifications versus certifications. ACC/A3 is designated the responsible agency for this volume IAW Air Force Policy Directive (AFPD) 11-2, Aircrew Operations.
This document has been substantially revised and should be completely reviewed. Major changes include: incorporated interim change 1, changed all references of Inexp/Exp to Wingman (WG) and 4-ship Flight Lead (4 FL). Removed outdated weapons tracking guidance, created table for recurrencies and removed suggested hours for various upgrade programs
