Purpose This regulation prescribes the Army Safety and Occupational Health Program (ASOHP), which establishes policies, responsibilities, and procedures to safeguard and preserve Army resources worldwide against accidental loss. It establishes risk management (RM) as the Army’s principal risk reduction methodology. It provides public safety policy incidental to Army operations and activities and ensures regulatory and statutory compliance. A violation of any of these paragraphs is separately punishable asa violati on of a lawful general regulation under Article 92, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ, Art. 92). Penalties for violating any of these paragraphs include the full range of statutory and regulatory sanctions, both criminal and administrative.
