What this publication covers

This publication provides processes and procedures for managing the DAF civilian police workforce. Defines roles and responsibilities for organizations and personnel identified to oversee and sustain program execution. Our civilian police workforce will serve as Security Forces primary certified law enforcement officer (CL EO) functional experts within Security Forces squadrons. Each civilian police officer is directly responsible for individual and team growth and development to ensure Security Forces can meet law enforcement and force protection missions.

What changed in this edition

This document is substantially revised and must be completely reviewed. Significant changes include incorporating specific 0083 civilian police officer (CPO) policy and guidance superseding CPO guidance in DAFI 31-118

Publications state their own changes on page 1 — behind a PDF the official host will not serve to a search engine. This is that section, verbatim. It describes the edition above, not every historical change.
