This interim change revises DAFI 36-129 by deleting certain language to be in compliance with EO Ending Radical and Wasteful Government DEI Programs And Preferencing and Protecting Women. Paragraphs 2.22.2, 3.1.2 and 4.3.1 are being modified to remove the contents of the parenthetical after “sex” that includes “pregnancy, gender identity, and sexual orientation”. 4.3.1 is also being modified to remove the requirement to designate a Diversity and Inclusion Director for the serviced activity.
