This instruction describes the Navy’s PRP requirements, defines responsibilities for compliance, and establishes required minimum standards of physical fitness. b. Significant changes include: (1) Command requirement for Service member physical training every workday. (2) Guidance for physical fitness testing for combat arms occupations. (3) Updated Body Composition Assessment (BCA) policy and procedures. (4) Updated guidelines for Sailor participation in the Physical Fitness Assessment (PFA) and Combat Fitness Assessment (CFA) after a post-pregnancy or postpartum period.
This instruction applies to all AC and RC Service members, commands, and activities. PRP Guides are available for download on the Physical Readiness website accessed via MyNavy HR and are considered official supplements to this instruction.
