Per reference (a), the MUSE Program provides equipment and technical support in support of cold iron, emergency backup, expeditionary, contingency and facility support missions to power Department of Defense (DoD) installations and platforms. Technicians install, oper ate, inspect, terminate, troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, maintain and manage the life cycle of utility power systems to include; generators, transformers, transfer switches, fuel tanks, electrical test gear, uninterruptible power supplies and distribution of shore based utilities. 4.
