This publication provides basic guidance for training Air Force aircrews according to AFPD 11-2, Aircrew Operations, and AFI 11-200, Aircrew Training, Standardization/ Evaluation, and General Operations Structure. Lead MAJCOMs will use this basic guidance to develop AFMAN 11-2 Mission Design Series (MDS) Volume 1 publications that provide MDS unique, customized, and/or specialized training programs (e.g., AFMAN 11-2, F-35, Volume 1, F-35A Aircrew Training). Undergraduate and Graduate aircrew production is tasked separately in the programmed flying training document. Trainers conduct undergraduate and introduction to fighter fundamentals training, according to Air Education and Training Command (AETC) sylla bi. See DAFMAN 11-401, Aviation Management, and AFMAN 11-2 Mission Design Series Volume 3 publications for passenger briefing and training requirements.
This interim change revises AFMAN 11-202V1 and incorporates Air Force Guidance Memorandum, AFMAN11-202V1_AFGM2024-02, Aircrew Training and directs HQ USAF/A3T to develop guidance on aviation anthropometric criteria. Publications state their own changes on page 1 — behind a PDF the official host will not serve to a search engine. This is that section, verbatim. It describes the edition above, not every historical change.
If AFMAN 11-202V1 changes, these are the documents that point at it. Extracted from the publications' own text, so it reflects what we have read, not a complete dependency map. Every publishing office validates its own document; nobody validates the seams between them.
Records in this branch carrying the same series and number — interim changes, guidance memoranda, and unit supplements. A copy stamped with one of these is a different document from the base publication.
