This interim change adds and explains Air/Space Force Service Authority, clarifying when a Service Authority is required on DAF Form 673, Department of the Air Force Publication/Form Action Request; expanded information in paragraph 4.5.5.11 for publication OPRs to provide specific guidance regarding waiver approval authorities for exercises and contingencies within their functional areas and requires them to define exercises and contingencies with respect to their functional areas. This change reflects the inclusion of additional guidance regarding retroactive waivers in paragraph 1. 2.9 and the removal of Air Force Publication Reduction Initiative (AFPRI) verbiage or references since the initiative has ended. This change also includes adding “SAF/OC” to the list of Mandatory Formal Coordinators in Table A3.1. Also, “ AF/HO” was added to the list of Discretionary Formal Coordinators in Table A3. 2 and SAF/GC’s coordination support is clarified.
